Get dialed-in
to all the convenience of having your own phone number, for as little as $2.49 per month. So no matter where you are, as long as you're connected to the web, when someone calls that number it rings to your computer.
It's great for home and work, plus for when you're traveling. Getting started is easy. Just choose a phone number in an area code that works for you (it doesn't have to be where you live or work - you can pick any available area code). Then with the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger on your PC, when people call your number -- it will ring to your computer.
Simply click "accept call" and start talking. You can use your PC's microphone and speakers, but a headset improves quality (and privacy). And if you're not online, calls go to voicemail (which you can check anytime for free).
PLEASE NOTE: 911 and other emergency service numbers currently cannot be accessed through Yahoo! Messenger or Yahoo! Voice services. You must use a traditional phone or mobile phone to access 911 or other emergency service numbers. Internet access and compatible PC required. Intended for use by U.S. residents only. Yahoo! Voice Phone Out and Phone In services are provided by Yahoo! Communications USA Inc., must be purchased separately and require you to download Yahoo! Messenger version 7.5 or higher.
